Records a user's hand edits to a generated rule by appending the rule name to the custom_overrides.rules array in the rule generator's manifest and refreshing updated_at, so later sync passes stop warning that the file was modified. Verifies the rule exists in the project rules directory, is tracked under generated.rules, and is not already recorded, then asks one yes-or-no question before writing anything. Use when the user says they hand-edited a generated rule under the project's .claude rules directory and wants the modification warnings gone or their changes kept. Not for editing rule content, creating or deleting rules, regenerating rules, running a sync pass, or changing any other manifest field.
