Maintains the Flask backend of the Chuuk Dictionary project, where a single app.py of about 4,150 lines registers every route directly on the application object and also holds the emailed one-time-link sign-in flow, the translation pipelines and the OCR helpers, while src packages contain the database, translation, OCR, JW.org and publication-parsing engines and config holds JSON data for authorized users and bible books. Covers placing a change in this layout, the module-level shared handles and their lock, passwordless sessions, sanitized JSON replies including the results envelope required for dictionary search, worker-thread job state, environment-based configuration, and mocking module globals for tests.
