Covers using any native file-path parameter a tool already offers, capturing reply-only tools through the redirect_tool_call meta-tool, plain shell and python file writes, scratch directories for staged pipelines, and handing the user a path to a large export instead of pasting it. Use when a call should exceed roughly fifty lines, when raw JSON or CSV from one tool feeds another tool, or when the user asks for a big artifact saved to disk. Not for small answers that fit in context, for content the user wants to read inline, and never as a replacement for a tool's own file-output option.
