Reads Apple Mail's local Envelope Index SQLite database on macOS to find, list, and read emails by subject, sender, folder, date, or read and flag status, without opening the Mail app. Runs read-only SQL joins across the messages, subjects, addresses, mailboxes, and summaries tables, converts Apple's 2001-based timestamps, and opens .emlx files for full message bodies. Use when the user asks to search, find, summarize, or read mail stored in Apple Mail on their Mac, or to list their mail accounts and folders. Not for sending, replying, moving, deleting, or marking mail, for mail kept only in a browser such as Gmail or Outlook web, for attachment search, or on non-macOS systems.
