Creates Obsidian vault notes that capture the current Claude Code session, either durable topic-focused reference notes, a dated work log, or both. Reads the vault path and folder layout from the claude-code-obsidian-plugin-config section of CLAUDE.md and enriches logs with the current timestamp, recent commits, and changed files gathered through read-only shell lookups. Use when the user asks to save, capture, or summarise the session into their vault, to record what was learned about a concept or tool, or to log hands-on project work such as coding, debugging, or refactoring. Not for editing, renaming, or deleting existing notes, syncing or publishing vaults, or configuring Obsidian itself.
