Runs image-only web searches against the Brave Images endpoint and returns ranked picture hits carrying a title, the host page, source domain, an optional crawl timestamp, a privacy-proxied thumbnail, a low-resolution placeholder for progressive loading, the full-size file URL, pixel dimensions, and a relevance score, with locale targeting, spellcheck, and a strict-or-off safety filter, up to 200 hits per query. Use when the user wants actual pictures — gallery or mood-board building, illustration sourcing, checking a picture's size or origin site — instead of ordinary web pages. Not for text, news, or video search, reverse image lookup, or creating and editing images.
